MIDDLE EAST

Racism in the Middle East

Most people who have been to Saudi Arabia or Kuwait have seen and experienced the hypocrisy and lack of civilized behavior of the locals towards them and all other foreigners who find themselves in these countries for whatever reason.

The Saudis and Kuwaitis have been condemned by most International humanitarian organizations, including Amnesty International for the lack of laws, moral principles and the blatant abuse of power against the weaker in their society. The 'royals', their relatives and their hangers-on, as well as the average Saudi or Kuwait citizen, because of financial "strength" and lack of a fair police system, are free to abuse anyone to the point of murder.

There have been well publicized cases of immigrant workers being cheated, raped or murdered by the families for whom they work. This is an affront to the Muslim peoples all around the world since these people are supposed to be "protectors of the faith" and the center of Islam.

A great deal of the fault actually lies with the Western governments, especially America and UK, who have purposefully corrupted these countries in order to get the benefits of "cheaper oil" without any regard to human rights, justice or democracy. These same democratic countries do not want the majority to have the same benefits that are the right of all humanity and also goes against all the democratic principles which they themselves supposedly uphold. The double standards by these countries make sure that they turn blind eye to all the injustice and corruption in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. This give legitimacy to the few in these countries who have a strangle hold on power and who make life so difficult for the less fortunate in these countries.

The people in America and Europe and other countries should now help turn these countries into democracies with equal rights for all (man and women) irrespective of race, religion and aristocracy.

The political significance of Israel's assassination policy

In 1997 the Israeli newspaper Maariv revealed that then-deputy military chief Ehud Barak ran the assassination operation from a command center on a navy missile ship off the shore of Tunis. Barak became prime minister in May 1999 after running as the Labor Party candidate and defeating Likud Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a landslide vote. He was voted out of office and replaced by Likud hard-liner Ariel Sharon last February.

Barak’s role in the assassination of Abu Jihad makes it clear that all wings of the Israeli Zionist establishment, the so-called doves as well as the open supporters of Israeli expansionism, are tied to the policies of state murder and mass terror.
